If your music is getting played,
you should be getting paid

What is a PRO?

How do I get started with AllTrack?

Getting started with AllTrack is fast and easy: 1) Register for a free creator account. 2) Add the songs that you've created (written, composed or produced) or co-created. 3) If you perform live, add your live performance setlists (optional). 4) Select how you would like to get paid. What does AllTrack do for music creators and publishers?

As a full-service global performing rights organization (PRO), AllTrack pays performance royalties to its members that it collects from streaming services, TV and radio stations, live entertainment venues and local businesses. It also enforces public performance rights when they are infringed upon and advocates for intellectual property rightsholders in the broader music industry.

Why is AllTrack the right PRO for independent creators and publishers?

AllTrack was formed to level the playing field, so that independent creators and publishers can be treated fairly and equally. This means making it free to join, paying everyone the same rate per play, paying on each stream without imposing minimum quantity thresholds, allocating unmatched collections to all members rather than just a select few, and paying royalties on all bona fide live performances (not just the largest tours). When it comes to your royalties, we know that every penny counts. We work tirelessly to track uses of your music and collect your royalties each time your songs are played. We were built on the principle of fairness, allowing our members to earn to their full potential.

Where do performance royalties come from?

Performance royalties come from businesses that pay for the right to play music. Because music is intellectual property that is protected under Copyright Law, businesses are required to properly license the performance rights of any music they play (or "perform") publicly. AllTrack issues licenses to businesses and collects license fees from them on behalf of the songwriters and music publishers that it represents. Some examples of businesses that we collect license fees from include streaming services like Spotify, Apple, YouTube, Amazon, TikTok, Facebook, etc.; TV and radio stations; stadiums, arenas, concert venues and music festivals; restaurants, bars and nightclubs; hotels, and resorts; gyms and fitness centers; and any other type of local business that plays music. Once we collect license fees, we pay them to our members based on the songs they’ve registered and usage data that we receive from many different sources.

Will I give up any ownership in my songs by registering with AllTrack?

No. With AllTrack, you always retain 100% ownership of your songs.

I already receive royalties from my digital distributor. Why should I join AllTrack?

AllTrack will pay you a different royalty stream than your digital distributor. A digital distributor will pay you royalties on your sound recording rights, whereas AllTrack will pay you performance royalties on your publishing rights. If you create and perform your own music, you are entitled to receive royalties on both sets of rights.

How is AllTrack as a PRO different from a music publisher?

A traditional professional music publisher is involved in multiple creative, business and financial aspects of a music creator's career. AllTrack's role is much more focused in that we are almost exclusively dedicated to collecting royalties on behalf of the music creators and publishers that we represent.

Can AllTrack work with my publishing administrator?

Yes, AllTrack works with most publishing administrators. Regardless of which publishing administrator you choose, you still require a PRO to receive your song registrations directly from your administrator, collect your performance royalties from businesses that play your music and subsequently process all royalty payments to you and your administrator. You can also use AllTrack as a one-stop music publishing administration solution for both performance and mechanical rights.

I’m a music producer or beatmaker, should I join AllTrack?

Yes. If you are a producer, beatmaker or are otherwise involved in the music creation process, as long as you own even a small fraction of a song, you should register for a free account with AllTrack. Your ownership share % in a song (including any share % you own as a result of providing any underlying beats) represents your right to earn royalties as that song gets played.
